This Coming Summer Consider:

For Youth:
Silver Lake Summer Conferences
 SLCC 2007logo

Each summer, Silver Lake continues the proud tradition of being the vibrant church camp for up to 1300 fourth-graders through high school-age young people. These 2-week-long "conferences" offer "once-in-a-lifetime experiences, over and over" to several generations of youth, helping to shape future leaders and spirited community-builders everywhere.

Silver Lake has become a sacred place to so many people, young and old. We invite you to come away from the busyness of everyday life and find out what is so special about this ministry of God's love.

Rev Peters' Sabbatical & Vacation - 2016

sabbatical

Rev. Peters will be on vacation during July and Sabbatical during August.

Church Services (9:30 am) will be covered a variety of wonderful preachers.

Vacation is a time that the minister is away from all church duties and responsibilities, much like anyone else.

Sabbatical is a time for a clergyperson to recharge and renew and to have the time and space to work on some tasks such as reading, rest, and small projects that will enhance the minister's ministry and that of the church.
Rev. Peters will be present for the Beef Barbecue on August 28.
